Thoroughly Milly

I'm shy, chubby, and emotional. I love cooking, doing new things, and I rarely follow through any of my goals. This is my journey to love myself, just as I am.

abitofsilliness asked: It's Christmas Question Tuesday! (I just made it up! Now pass it on! Hooray!) When is the appropriate time to take down the Christmas decorations?

You’re so cute!

Normally, I would say the 2nd or 3rd of January.  But I’m not normal.  I recover from the non stop craziness since Thanksgiving for about a week and then take the decorations down the next weekend.

Some people I know keep them up until the end of February/beginning of March.  But I won’t name any names.*  I just think that’s crazy and I feel guilty with every day that goes by that they’re still up.  I hear nagging in the back of my head like, “my mother and grandmother would be so ashamed!” or “you’re being SO lazy.”

I never said I wasn’t insane.
